Peter Perlinac was born and raised in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago and attended Bret Harte Elementary School and Kenwood Academy. He was introduced to the real estate world at an early age by his parents, who bought a six-unit apartment building in 1962. By 1989 Peter was managing a total of 137 rental units for his family.
Having spent many years in the restaurant and hospitality business prior to that, Peter knew the importance of customer service. He took that understanding with him when he decided to go into real estate sales in November of 1998, and knew that he had found his niche. Since then he has closed over $60 millon in sales, often working with first-time buyers which he found particularly rewarding. It was gratifying for him to see the beaming faces of a new homeowner as he handed them the keys to their new home.
Peter feels fortunate for the relationships that he has formed over the years with his clients. He tries to make the home buying and selling experience as enjoyable and informative as possible. His clients must agree — he has worked with many of them on multiple transactions as well as scores of referrals from prior and current clients — and attributes much of his success to the fairness and respect he shows to everyone with whom he works.
